In early October 2024, a photograph (archived) circulated on X, allegedly showing actor Chris Evans in pro-Harris shirt .
"Love it," one X user wrote, while another added "That guy deserves a very important position in Mrs. Kamala Tem [sic]."
The item of clothing displayed the slogan, "KAMA'LA THE LADY WHO MADE BRETT KAVANAUGH CRY 2024," referring to then-U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris's questioning of then-Supreme Court justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh during his 2018 Senate confirmation hearings.
The image was also posted on Threads.
In short, because the in-question photo was digitally altered to add a pro-Harris slogan on Evans' T-shirt, we rated this image as fake.
TinEye reverse image search results indicated Evans wore a white T-shirt in the original photograph.

Just Jared, a celebrity gossip website, shared the unedited photo of Evans on July 5, 2013.
