For example, on July 22, 2024, a TikTok user posted the video displaying the onscreen caption, "A young Kamala Harris dancing on 'Soul Train.'" If that is indeed the case, the episode aired between 2005 and the final episode in 2006.
From 2004 through 2010, Harris served as San Francisco's first female district attorney. Considering that high-profile status, if Harris had danced on "Soul Train" in 2005 or 2006, newspapers, local TV news and blogs would have reported the appearance. We located no such reports.
On a related note, we previously debunked a rumor claiming another video showed former U.S. President Donald Trump on "Soul Train."
